Ubuntu 字體系列是一組在 2010-2011 期間開發(fā) 的匹配的新 libre/open 字體。該開發(fā)由 Canonical Ltd 代表更廣泛的自由軟件社區(qū)和 Ubuntu 項目資助。技術(shù)字體設(shè)計工作和實施由Dalton Maag承擔。
最終字體 Truetype/OpenType 文件和用于生成字體系列的設(shè)計文件均在開放許可下分發(fā)，我們明確鼓勵您進行試驗、修改、共享和改進。
開始使用新的 Ubuntu 字體系列，以便在每個菜單、按鈕和對話框中都能看到和感受到 Ubuntu 的個性。字體為無襯線字體，使用 OpenType 功能，并在桌面和移動計算屏幕上手動提示清晰。
